Getting your test results
If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- by using the Anima service
- in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- in your SystmOnline account
- by phoning us on 01453 764 222 and we will tell you what the results are
We will only contact you if more immediate action is required.
We do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they belong to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
If you wish to give permission for another person to be able to receive results and discuss your health care you will need to complete a form which we will keep as part of your medical notes.
